(WNY News Now) – BUFFALO, N.Y. – The National Weather Service (NWS) in Buffalo has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, and Southern Erie counties, effective until 7 a.m. Friday, February 14.
Hazardous Conditions Expected
A mix of precipitation is forecast to transition into snow by Thursday afternoon, bringing potentially dangerous travel conditions. Key details include:
- Today: Up to one inch of snow and one-tenth of an inch of ice accumulation.
- Thursday Afternoon & Night: 4 to 7 inches of additional snow expected.
