(WNY News Now) – JAMESTOWN, N.Y. – A Jamestown woman was arrested early Thursday morning following a reported fight on the city’s north side, according to police.
At approximately 1:49 a.m. on February 13, officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s 3rd Platoon responded to reports of a large altercation. Upon arrival, officers encountered a sizable crowd and an active fight.
Following an investigation, police determined that Sole A. Thomas, 22, had assaulted another individual, causing physical injury. Thomas was taken into custody at the scene and transported to the Jamestown City Jail.
She has been charged with third-degree assault and is being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
