(WNY News Now) – Ellery, NY – A Jamestown man was arrested for driving while intoxicated (DWI) after a single-vehicle accident on Interstate 86 late Saturday night.

According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the crash around 11:35 p.m. on February 15 in the Town of Ellery. The driver, identified as 31-year-old Brady J. Wesp, was found to be intoxicated following an investigation at the scene.

Wesp was arrested and charged with DWI and moving from a lane unsafely. He is scheduled to appear in Ellery Town Court at a later date. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
