(WNY News Now) – JAMESTOWN, NY – Two Jamestown residents were arrested on drug possession charges following a traffic stop on Falconer St. late Saturday evening.
At approximately 10:16 p.m. on February 22, 2025, officers from the Jamestown Police Department, part of the state’s GIVE (Gun Involved Violence Elimination) initiative, observed a vehicle commit a moving violation in the area of Falconer St. and Weeks St. Police conducted a traffic stop, during which they noticed a quantity of cocaine in plain view inside the vehicle.
A further search of the vehicle uncovered an additional quantity of the substance. Both occupants, identified as Jeffrey A. Patterson, 26, and Jasmine L. Suchy Skelly, 27, were arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree.
The two individuals were transported to the Jamestown City Jail. Both Patterson and Skelly were released on appearance tickets and are scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.
As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
