(WNY News Now) – TOWN OF ELLICOTT, N.Y. – A Falconer man was arrested early Saturday morning following a domestic dispute that led to multiple charges, according to the Town of Ellicott Police Department.

Authorities responded to a call at approximately 2:50 a.m. on Feb. 22, where they allege that Caden L. Barrett, 20, unlawfully took the victim’s phone and restricted their movement. The incident reportedly occurred in the presence of a child under 17 years old.

Following an investigation, Barrett was taken into custody and charged with unlawful imprisonment in the second degree, endangering the welfare of a child, and petit larceny. He was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for a centralized arraignment.

Barrett is scheduled to appear in Town of Ellicott Court at a later date to address the charges. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
