(WNY News Now) – ELLICOTT, N.Y. – A Jamestown woman was arrested on multiple charges following an altercation at a business in the Town of Ellicott.

Town of Ellicott Police charged Jessica L. McAdoo, 37, with Harassment in the Second Degree, Burglary in the Third Degree, and Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree on February 14, 2025.

Authorities responded to a local business after receiving reports of a disorderly person. According to police, McAdoo allegedly struck an employee after being denied access to the business’s phone. During the altercation, she also caused damage to business property without authorization.

Investigators noted that McAdoo had a prior trespassing arrest at the same location in July 2024.

Following her arrest, McAdoo was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for Centralized Arraignment. She is scheduled to appear in Ellicott Town Court at a later date to face the charges. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
