(WNY News Now) – OLEAN, NY – A Salamanca woman was taken into custody on Saturday after authorities executed a felony bench warrant issued by Cattaraugus County Criminal Court.
The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office reported that at approximately 4:57 p.m. on February 22, deputies located and arrested Elsie I. Redeye, 21, at a residence on West Green Street in Olean.
Redeye was transported to the Cattaraugus County Jail, where she remains in custody awaiting further court proceedings. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
