(WNY News Now) – SALAMANCA, N.Y. – A Hinsdale man was taken into custody Sunday night on an active felony bench warrant, according to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office.

At approximately 9:45 p.m. on February 23, deputies, with assistance from the Salamanca Police Department, arrested Andrew J. Greinert, 34, at 1 Barrett Drive in Salamanca. Authorities confirmed Greinert was wanted on a felony bench warrant issued by Cattaraugus County Criminal Court.

Following his arrest, Greinert was transported to Cattaraugus County Jail, where he is being held pending further court proceedings. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
