(WNY News Now) – SALAMANCA, N.Y. – A 36-year-old Olean man was taken into custody late Monday night on multiple bench warrants following a joint effort by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office and the Salamanca Police Department.
According to authorities, Stacy R. Spencer Jr. was arrested at approximately 11:30 p.m. on February 24, 2025, at 1 Barrett Drive in Salamanca. Spencer Jr. had three active felony bench warrants issued by the Cattaraugus County Criminal Court, along with an additional bench warrant from Olean City Criminal Court.
Following his arrest, Spencer Jr. was transported directly to the Cattaraugus County Jail, where he is being held pending further court proceedings. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
