(WNY News Now) – Jamestown, NY – A routine traffic stop in Jamestown led to the arrest of a Sinclairville woman on drug possession charges late Friday night.
According to the Jamestown Police Department, officers conducted a vehicle stop near E. 2nd St. and Thayer St. at approximately 8:51 p.m. on February 28, 2025. During the investigation, officers identified a passenger, 45-year-old Brandi M. Howard, who was found in possession of methamphetamine.
Upon further search, authorities discovered additional methamphetamine and a quantity of cocaine on Howard’s person. She was taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail, where she was charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree.
Howard was released on an appearance ticket in accordance with New York’s bail reform laws and is scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
