(WNY News Now) – JAMESTOWN, NY – A months-long narcotics investigation led to the arrest of three individuals in Jamestown after authorities executed a search warrant at a residence on East 6th Street.
Narcotics investigators from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, Jamestown Police Department, and Dunkirk Police Department carried out the search at 614 E. 6th St., Lower Apartment, on February 26 at approximately 1:45 p.m. The Jamestown Police SWAT team made entry into the residence, where they found three suspects inside.
Authorities seized 20.3 grams of crack cocaine, 4.7 grams of fentanyl, drug distribution scales, and $545 in U.S. currency.



Arrested Individuals and Charges:
- Ronnie R. Walker, 44: Three counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd, Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd, and Tampering with Physical Evidence.
- Demarco Lathan, 36: Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd and Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd.
- Lucas Smyczek, 37: Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd and Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd.
All three suspects were transported to Jamestown City Court for arraignment. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Authorities urge residents to report suspicious activity related to narcotics.
