(WNY News Now) – JAMESTOWN, NY – A routine traffic stop in Jamestown late Wednesday night led to the arrest of a local woman on multiple drug possession charges.
According to the Jamestown Police Department, officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of E. 3rd Street and Spring Street at approximately 11:48 p.m. on March 6, 2025. During the stop, officers identified a passenger, Rachel R. Kalb, 33, of Jamestown, who had an outstanding warrant issued by the department.
Kalb was taken into custody, and during an inventory search of her person and belongings, officers reportedly found quantities of cocaine, fentanyl, and 10 grams of methamphetamine. As a result, she was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree and two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree.
Following her arrest, Kalb was transported to the Jamestown City Jail, where she was booked and held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
