(WNY News Now) – WESTFIELD, NY – A Westfield man was taken into custody following a domestic dispute that prompted a response from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office on Saturday evening.
Deputies responded to an address in the Town of Westfield on March 8, 2025, at approximately 5:14 p.m. for a reported domestic incident. Following an investigation, authorities determined that Adam Warner, 36, had allegedly placed another individual in fear of serious physical injury by displaying a knife. Warner was also accused of damaging property belonging to another person.
Warner was arrested and charged with Menacing in the Second Degree and Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree. He was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for Centralized Arraignment Processing (CAP).
The Village of Westfield Court will oversee further legal proceedings. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
