(WNY News Now) – Jamestown Area Youth Soccer (JAYS) is holding its next sign up event for volunteers at REALiFE Church, located at 556 E. 2nd Street in Jamestown, on March 15th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Jamestown, N.Y. – As we prepare to break out the lawn chairs for this year, the Jamestown Area Youth Soccer (JAYS) organization is looking for volunteers for coaching teams and assisting the program. With around 500 players every year, running the organization is no small task.
However, organizational assistance is on a downward trend. As the number of board members continues to dwindle, it is more important than ever for the community to lend its support.
JAYS is looking for volunteers wherever they may be found, whether they are parents of players or other members of the community. Whether it’s coaches, assistants, referees, age group coordinators, or team sponsors, any and all help is appreciated.
Volunteers can sign up at the JAYS next sign up event, which will take place at REALiFE Church, located at 556 E. 2nd Street in Jamestown, on March 15th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
