(WNY News Now) – DUNKIRK, N.Y. – A structure fire broke out at 156 Lincoln Ave in the City of Dunkirk on the evening of March 17, 2025. Firefighters responded promptly, extinguishing the blaze before it could spread further.
Following the incident, the Chautauqua County Fire Investigation Team was called to determine the fire’s origin and cause. Investigators concluded that an electrical issue was responsible for the fire and ruled it accidental in nature.
No injuries were reported, and authorities have not announced any criminal charges related to the incident.
