(WNY News Now) – ELLICOTT, NY — Kyle J. Seekings, 38, of Jamestown, was arrested and charged with unlawful imprisonment in the second degree and petit larceny following a domestic dispute in the Town of Ellicott.

At approximately 4:42 PM on March 3, 2025, Town of Ellicott police responded to a domestic dispute in progress. Upon arrival, officers learned that Seekings allegedly prevented the victim from leaving the residence for an extended period of time. The situation escalated when Seekings is accused of taking property from the victim after they managed to flee the home.

Seekings was arrested at the scene and transported to Chautauqua County Jail for a centralized arraignment. He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Ellicott court at a later date to face the charges. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
