(WNY News Now) – MAYVILLE, N.Y. – A Jamestown man currently incarcerated at the Chautauqua County Jail faces additional felony charges after allegedly damaging jail property.
Authorities say that on March 12, Joseph A. Cohen, 47, of Jamestown, intentionally damaged an electronic tablet while in custody. As a result, he was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, a Class E felony.
Cohen is scheduled for arraignment at Centralized Arraignment Program (CAP) Court in the Town of Chautauqua. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
