(WNY News Now) – ELLICOTT, N.Y. – A Jamestown man has been charged with grand larceny after allegedly taking a motorcycle without permission.

According to the Town of Ellicott Police, officers responded to a reported larceny on March 19. Their investigation determined that Bobby R. Mount, 42, had unlawfully taken a motorcycle from a hotel in Ellicott during the early morning hours. Authorities say Mount was found in possession of the vehicle without the owner’s consent.

Mount was charged with Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree and issued an appearance ticket. He is scheduled to appear in Town of Ellicott Court at a later date to respond to the charge. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
