(WNY News Now) – DUNKIRK, NY – A six-month investigation into narcotics activity led law enforcement to execute a search warrant at a residence in the Town of Dunkirk on March 26, resulting in the arrest of a 21-year-old man on multiple drug charges.

Narcotics investigators from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, Dunkirk Police Department, and Jamestown Police Department executed the search warrant at 3711 Rt 5, Lot 53, at approximately 8:58 a.m. The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s SWAT team made entry into the residence, where they located Felipe A. Otero-Otero of Dunkirk.

During the search, investigators seized 9.38 grams of cocaine, digital scales, packaging materials for drug distribution, and $153 in U.S. currency. Otero-Otero was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third and Fourth Degrees and Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the Second Degree.

He was transported to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office for arraignment. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
