(WNY News Now) – LITTLE VALLEY, NY – A Little Valley man was arrested following a domestic dispute investigation on Hill Street, according to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to the incident on March 28 at approximately 5:01 p.m. and identified Andrew J. Stokes, 29, as the suspect. Following an investigation, authorities determined that Stokes caused injury to another individual. Due to a prior misdemeanor family offense conviction within the last five years, he was charged with Assault in the Third Degree and Aggravated Family Offense.
Stokes was arraigned and remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
