(WNY News Now) – A narcotics investigation in Jamestown resulted in the arrest of a 45-year-old man following a search warrant execution that uncovered fentanyl, meth, crack cocaine, and a weapon.
JAMESTOWN, N.Y. – On Monday, April 7, 2025, at approximately 3:35 p.m., members of the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force, with assistance from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Investigators and the Jamestown Police Department SWAT Team, executed a search warrant at the lower apartment of 34 Thayer Street.
During the operation, Thomas N. Dulak, 45, of Jamestown, was located inside the residence along with three other individuals. All four were detained by SWAT officers while the premises were secured.
Following the detainment, investigators conducted a search of the apartment and reportedly found 24.6 grams of fentanyl, 4.7 grams of methamphetamine, 3.4 grams of crack cocaine, 20 dosage units of fentanyl, and several bottles of liquid methadone. Authorities also recovered drug packaging materials, digital scales, a large quantity of a cutting agent commonly used in drug distribution, and a metal knuckle knife.
As a result, Dulak was charged with the following offenses:
- Three counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree
- One count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 4th Degree
- One count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree
- Three counts of Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd Degree
- One count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 3rd Degree
Dulak was transported to the Jamestown City Jail and is being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. The three other individuals were released from the scene.
As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
