(WNY News Now) – The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Salamanca man this week on an outstanding harassment warrant.
SALAMANCA, NY – A local man was taken into custody Tuesday evening on an active arrest warrant issued by Salamanca City Court.
According to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office, Thomas E. Stevens, 35, of Salamanca, was arrested at approximately 6:05 p.m. on April 8 near the intersection of Wildwood Avenue and Oak Street. The arrest was made in connection to a warrant for harassment in the second degree.
Deputies transported Stevens to the Salamanca Police Department, where he was arraigned. Following arraignment, he was released on his own recognizance. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
