(WNY News Now) – A domestic incident on Jamestown’s west side led to the arrest of a 32-year-old Elmira man early Friday morning.
JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — Officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s 3rd Platoon responded to a domestic incident on the west side of the city around 1:28 a.m. on April 25, 2025.
Upon arrival, officers discovered that the male subject inside the residence, identified as Orishio D. Kingsberry, 32, of Elmira, was in violation of an active order of protection. The order required Kingsberry to stay away from the victim who resides at the location.
Police took Kingsberry into custody without incident. During the intake process at the Jamestown City Jail, authorities found Kingsberry in possession of approximately seven grams of cocaine.
Kingsberry was charged with Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fourth Degree. He is being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
