(WNY News Now) – A Jamestown resident was arrested Wednesday evening after police responded to a reported domestic incident resulting in physical injury.

JAMESTOWN – On April 30, 2025, at approximately 5:55 p.m., officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s Second Platoon were dispatched to the north side of the city for a reported domestic incident.

Following an on-scene investigation, police determined that 40-year-old Dennis J. Harmon Jr., a Jamestown resident, was involved in a physical altercation with another individual. The incident resulted in the victim sustaining a physical injury.

Harmon was taken into custody without further incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail. He has been charged with Assault in the Third Degree, a misdemeanor offense under New York State Penal Law.

Harmon is currently being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
