(WNY News Now) – A 27-year-old Perrysburg resident was arrested after a traffic stop revealed she was driving with a suspended license.
The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office reports that Eilis B. Meehan, 27, of Perrysburg, was arrested on May 3, 2025, following a traffic stop on Main Street in Versailles, New York.
Deputies conducted the stop at approximately 2:32 p.m. During the investigation, it was determined that Meehan was operating a vehicle while her New York State driver’s license was suspended.
As a result, Meehan was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the First Degree.
She was taken to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office in Little Valley for processing and was later released with an appearance ticket. Meehan is scheduled to appear in Perrysburg Town Court at a later date to answer the charge.
As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
