(WNY News Now) – Douglas E. Martin, 61, of Falconer, was arrested on felony charges after violating a court order during a domestic incident in Jamestown on May 11, 2025.
On the morning of May 11, 2025, at approximately 7:47 a.m., Jamestown police responded to a reported domestic incident at a Southside address. Officers arrived at the scene and made contact with the victim, who reported that Douglas E. Martin, 61, of Falconer, had taken her phone while she attempted to contact law enforcement for emergency assistance.
The victim, who is under the protection of an active Order of Protection against Martin, stated that the incident involved a violation of this legal order. Martin was taken into custody without incident by responding officers and was transported to the city jail.
Martin faces charges of Felony Criminal Contempt in the First Degree and Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree. Martin is being held at the city jail pending his arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
