(WNY News Now) – Bethany A. Phinney, 35, was arrested on May 9, 2025, after deputies executed a warrant in the Town of New Albion.
CATTARAUGUS, NY — On May 9, 2025, at approximately 1:30 PM, Bethany A. Phinney, 35, a resident of Cattaraugus, was taken into custody following a warrant execution by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office. The arrest occurred in the Town of New Albion after deputies discovered that Phinney had an outstanding warrant issued by the Town of Cold Spring Court.
Phinney was promptly transported to the Town of Cold Spring Court, where she was arraigned. She was subsequently released on her own recognizance and is scheduled to return to court at a later date for further proceedings. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
