Tibbetts pleaded guilty on February 25, 2025, to two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, both class B felonies. In addition to the prison term, she will serve two years of post-release supervision.

The conviction stems from a long-term investigation conducted by the Jamestown Metro Drug Taskforce and the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force. Authorities said the investigation focused on Tibbetts’ involvement in methamphetamine trafficking in the area.

Chautauqua County District Attorney Jason L. Schmidt expressed gratitude to the Jamestown Police Department and the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office for their role in the investigation.

Tibbetts was sentenced by Judge David Foley in Chautauqua County Court.

God bless all of the people who are, were addicts and some of the people who didn’t make it. My brother died of an overdose. Every single person has a chance at redemption. I hope she takes this time to find Jesus. Seriously find Jesus. Some people will get this and some people won’t. I will pray for this world to become drug free. It gets a hold of your life and doesn’t let go. I look at her picture and see a person. She has a chance to redeem herself. I hope she does!
