(WNY News Now) – SALAMANCA, N.Y. — A Salamanca woman was arrested Saturday night on an active felony bench warrant, according to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office.
At approximately 10:14 p.m. on May 10, deputies took Christina L. French, 35, into custody after she was observed walking on Clinton Street near the bridge in the City of Salamanca. Authorities confirmed that French had an active felony bench warrant issued by Cattaraugus County Court.
French was transported without incident to the Cattaraugus County Jail, where she is being held pending further court proceedings. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
