(WNY News Now) – On May 9, 2025, Town of Ellicott Police charged Tabitha J. Delahoy, 36, of Busti, with felony aggravated unlicensed operation and multiple traffic violations following a traffic stop on Route 60.
At approximately 1:16 a.m. on May 9, Town of Ellicott police initiated a traffic stop after an officer observed Tabitha J. Delahoy operating a vehicle displaying license plates registered to another vehicle. During the stop, it was discovered that Delahoy’s New York State driver’s license was suspended.
Delahoy was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the First Degree, a felony, along with five additional violations of New York State Vehicle and Traffic Laws. She was taken into custody and transported to the Town of Ellicott Police Department for processing.
Following processing, Delahoy was issued an appearance ticket and released. She is scheduled to appear in Town of Ellicott court at a later date to respond to the charges. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
