(WNY News Now) – Douglas E. Puckett, 38, was charged with second-degree harassment after a domestic incident reported to Town of Ellicott Police on May 12.
The Town of Ellicott Police responded to a domestic dispute involving Douglas E. Puckett of Jamestown on May 12, 2025, at approximately 11:35 a.m. According to the police report, Puckett allegedly spat in his girlfriend’s face and knocked her drink out of her hand during the incident.
Following the response, Puckett was taken into custody and transported to the Town of Ellicott Police Department for processing. He was subsequently transferred to the Chautauqua County Jail for a centralized arraignment.
Puckett faces a charge of Harassment in the Second Degree and is scheduled to appear in Town of Ellicott court at a later date to answer to the charge. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
