(WNY News Now) – A Jamestown man faces multiple charges following a narcotics investigation triggered by a trespassing complaint at a condemned property on the city’s South Side.
JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — On Monday, May 26, 2025, around 3:00 p.m., officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s 2nd Platoon responded to a report of a suspicious person at a condemned structure in a South Side neighborhood.
Upon arrival, officers located a man on the property and attempted to identify him. The individual fled the scene on foot, leading officers on a brief pursuit that concluded several blocks away. Police were able to apprehend the subject, who was later identified as Pablo J. Figueroa.
Figueroa was taken into custody on charges of trespass and obstructing governmental administration in the second degree. Following standard procedure, officers conducted an inventory search after transporting Figueroa to the Jamestown City Jail. During the search, police allegedly discovered a quantity of methamphetamine and pills in Figueroa’s possession.
As a result, Figueroa was additionally charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree. Authorities also confirmed he had outstanding bench warrants at the time of his arrest.
Figueroa is currently being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
