(WNY News Now) – Town of Ellicott Police arrested a 25-year-old man on assault charges following a domestic incident on May 30.
The Town of Ellicott Police Department has charged Dylan Z. Barber, 25, of Ellicott with Assault in the Third Degree after responding to a domestic dispute in progress on May 30, 2025, at approximately 9:54 a.m.
According to police, Barber allegedly involved himself in a domestic situation at a residence and assaulted an individual, resulting in injuries to the victim. Officers took Barber into custody at the scene.
Following his arrest, Barber was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment. He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Ellicott Court at a later date to respond to the charge. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
