(WNY News Now) – ELLICOTT, NY – A routine traffic stop on June 3, 2025, led to the arrest of a Carroll man wanted on an out-of-state warrant.
According to the Town of Ellicott Police Department, 38-year-old Garrett R. Culver was stopped by officers at approximately 8:36 p.m. after committing a traffic violation. During the stop, police discovered that Culver had an outstanding warrant from the state of Maine.
Culver was charged with being a Fugitive from Justice and taken into custody without incident. He was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail pending arraignment. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
