(WNY News Now) – Kenneth L. Trask, 42, was taken into custody on June 10th after allegedly shoplifting a 24-ounce beer can from a local 7-Eleven store.

JAMESTOWN — On June 10, 2025, at approximately 6:00 p.m., Jamestown Police responded to a shoplifting complaint at the 7-Eleven convenience store located at 518 North Main Street. Officers from the department’s 2nd Platoon were dispatched following a report that a male suspect had stolen a 24-ounce Steel Reserve beer can.

Upon arrival, police gathered a description of the suspect and shortly afterward located a man matching that description just west of the store. The individual was identified as Kenneth L. Trask, a 42-year-old resident of Jamestown.

Trask was taken into custody without incident and transported to the City Jail. He faces a charge of petit larceny and is currently being held pending arraignment at Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
