(WNY News Now) – On June 12, 2025, at 10:26 PM, Jamestown police conducting a GIVE probation detail discovered illegal weapons at a Northside residence.
Jamestown, NY — Anthony V. Rivera, 19, a Jamestown resident, was arrested on June 12 after officers performing a GIVE probation check at a Northside residence found him in possession of a large-capacity feeding device and multiple bullets.
The investigation began when probation officers responded to the residence at approximately 10:26 PM. During their search, they uncovered the weapon-related items, leading to Rivera’s immediate arrest. The charge against Rivera is Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree.
Rivera was taken into custody without incident and is currently held at Jamestown City Jail awaiting arraignment at Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
