(WNY News Now) – A Dewittville resident, Lisa M. Weaver, 47, was arrested on June 12 after a single-vehicle accident on Beech Hill Road in Chautauqua, facing multiple charges including Driving While Intoxicated.
On the evening of June 12, 2025, at approximately 9:50 p.m., the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single-vehicle crash on Beech Hill Road in the Town of Chautauqua. The driver, identified as Lisa M. Weaver, age 47, of Dewittville, was found to be operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
Following the investigation, Weaver was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), DWI per se, unsafe backing, and moving from lane unsafely.
Weaver is scheduled to appear in the Town of Chautauqua Court to answer to the charges at a future date. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
