Police Locate and Arrest Robert Brinkley on East Side of Jamestown

(WNY News Now) – JAMESTOWN – A 26-year-old Jamestown man was taken into custody Monday morning after police located him during a response to a reported domestic dispute.

At approximately 10:13 a.m. on June 16, 2025, officers from the Jamestown Police Department responded to an intersection on the east side of the city. While the reported domestic dispute was determined to be unfounded, officers recognized Robert BD Brinkley, who was wanted in connection with an ongoing investigation.

Brinkley had pending charges for Robbery in the First Degree, a felony, and Petit Larceny. When officers attempted to arrest him, Brinkley reportedly pulled away and attempted to flee the scene. After a brief physical struggle, police were able to take him into custody without further incident.

In addition to the pending robbery and larceny charges, Brinkley is now also charged with Resisting Arrest.

He was transported to the Jamestown City Jail and is currently being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
