(WNY News Now) – Kenneth Walker, 40, of Falconer, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance after police found methamphetamine during a traffic stop in Jamestown on June 23.

On June 23, 2025, at approximately 3:55 p.m., officers from the Jamestown Police Department and the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of North Main Street and East 6th Street in Jamestown.

During the stop, a joint investigation revealed that Kenneth Walker, the passenger in the vehicle and a 40-year-old Falconer resident, was found in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine. Following the discovery, Walker was taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail.

Walker faces a charge of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree. In line with New York State bail reform laws, he was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
