Fire crews respond to early morning blaze on Willard Street Extension; cause under investigation.
(WNY News Now) – ELLICOTT, NY – An early morning structure fire on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, prompted a multi-agency emergency response at 2218 1/2 Willard Street Extension in the Town of Ellicott. The incident was reported at approximately 3:51 a.m.
The Falconer Fire Department, assisted by multiple mutual aid fire departments and the Town of Ellicott Police Department, responded to the scene. The fire involved a residential structure that included a house, a detached garage, and a shed.
Due to the complexity of the incident, the Chautauqua County Fire Investigation Team was called in to determine the origin and cause of the fire. No injuries have been reported at this time, and the extent of the damage has not been disclosed.
Authorities confirmed that the investigation remains ongoing, and no further information has been released.
