(WNY News Now) – A 41-year old Westfield Man faces multiple charges after an alleged domestic dispute and reckless vehicle incident at the Thru Way Motel on July 5, 2025.
WESTFIELD, NY — On July 5, 2025, at approximately 9:27 a.m., the Village of Westfield Police Department responded to a reported domestic dispute at the Thru Way Motel, located at 223 N. Portage Street. Authorities arrested 41-year-old Xovier Nieves of Westfield following the incident.

According to the police report, the female complainant involved in the dispute stated that during a verbal argument with Nieves, she was threatened and physically pushed. The situation escalated in the motel’s parking lot, where Nieves allegedly drove his vehicle toward the complainant, causing her to flee on foot to avoid being hit.
Officers reported that Nieves then drove onto a sidewalk, hitting a curb and damaging his vehicle before fleeing the scene. He was subsequently located without incident by the New York State Police and Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office at the Barcelona Market.
Nieves was taken into custody and transported to the Westfield Police Department for processing before being moved to the Chautauqua County Jail for Centralized Arraignment. He faces charges including Attempted Assault in the Second Degree, Reckless Endangerment in the Second Degree, and Harassment in the Second Degree.
Nieves is scheduled to appear in Town of Westfield Court at a later date to respond to the charges.
