Town of Ellicott Police respond to report of harassment; suspect issued appearance ticket.

(WNY News Now) – FALCONER, NY – A 32-year-old Falconer man has been charged with harassment following an incident on the afternoon of July 15, according to the Town of Ellicott Police Department.

Officers responded at approximately 4:45 p.m. to a report of harassment, where it is alleged that Robert H. Paul verbally threatened physical harm to another individual. Following the investigation, Paul was charged with Harassment in the Second Degree, a violation under New York State Penal Law.

Police issued Paul an appearance ticket requiring him to appear in the Town of Ellicott Court at a later date to respond to the charge. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
