(WNY News Now) – A 42-year-old Jamestown resident was taken into custody after allegedly damaging personal property during a downtown altercation.

JAMESTOWN – On Saturday, July 19, 2025, at approximately 6:55 p.m., officers from the second platoon of the Jamestown Police Department responded to a report of a fight in the downtown area.

Upon arrival, officers conducted a brief investigation and identified Kenneth Mosley, a 42-year-old Jamestown resident, as a suspect. According to police, Mosley allegedly damaged the victim’s glasses during the altercation.

Mosley was arrested at the scene and transported to the Jamestown City Jail. He is being charged with one count of Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree, a felony offense under New York State law.

He is currently being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
