(WNY News Now) – On July 30, 2025, Jesse C. Bartlett, 57, of Great Valley, and Jessie J. Fuller, 41, of Napoli, were arrested following a traffic stop in Ashford for possession of a controlled substance.
The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office reported that deputies stopped a vehicle operated by Jesse C. Bartlett on Connoisarauley Road in the Town of Ashford at approximately 3:14 a.m. on July 30. During the stop, deputies conducted a brief interview with Bartlett and passenger Jessie J. Fuller, which led to reasonable suspicion of illegal activity.
K9 Lex was called to the scene and performed an open-air sniff around the vehicle. The dog alerted deputies to the presence of narcotics, prompting a search of the vehicle. Deputies found approximately 4.115 ounces of suspected methamphetamine.
Bartlett and Fuller were arrested without incident and transported to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office for processing. They have been charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Second Degree. Both were arraigned in Town of Ellicottville Court and remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail without bail. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
