Deputies say duo stole money from Wilean Farms cash box during July 28 incident.
(WNY News Now) – LITTLE VALLEY, N.Y. — The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office has charged two Little Valley residents with petit larceny following a traffic stop connected to a theft at a local produce stand.
Sandra L. Sherlock, 45, and Kristin P. Green, 30, were arrested in the early evening of July 28, 2025, after deputies stopped a vehicle believed to be involved in a larceny earlier that day. According to the Sheriff’s Office, the pair allegedly stole money from the cash box at Wilean Farms produce stand, located on East Otto-Springville Road in East Otto.
In addition to the petit larceny charge, Green was also charged with trespass.
Both individuals were processed at the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office and released with appearance tickets. They are scheduled to appear in local court at a later date. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
