(WNY News Now) – On August 1, 2025, Kayla M. Greene, 20, of Salamanca, was arrested on charges of petit larceny following a shoplifting incident at the Walmart located at 1869 Plaza Drive in Allegany, NY.
According to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office, Greene allegedly stole merchandise valued at $232.80 and exited the store without paying. She was located shortly after near the scene and taken into custody. After processing, Greene was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in court to address the charges.
As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
