Officers respond to report of a disorderly person and arrest 18-year-old female for damaging property.
(WNY News Now) – JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — An 18-year-old Jamestown woman is facing a criminal mischief charge after allegedly kicking down a door during a disturbance at a southside residence early Friday morning.
According to the Jamestown Police Department, officers from the third platoon responded to a call at approximately 5:54 a.m. on August 1, 2025, regarding a disorderly person inside a home. Upon arrival, officers determined that the female subject had forcibly kicked in a door, causing damage to property belonging to another individual.
The suspect, whose name was not released, was taken into custody at the scene and transported to the Jamestown City Jail. She was charged with Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree, a Class A misdemeanor under New York State law.
She is currently being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
