(WNY News Now) – Jorge A. Davila Jr., 36, was arrested Thursday after allegedly chasing his ex-girlfriend’s vehicle in violation of an active order of protection, according to Dunkirk Police.

Dunkirk, N.Y. – On August 7, 2025, at approximately 12:30 p.m., the Dunkirk Police Department responded to a domestic dispute report at Central Avenue and 5th Street. The incident began when a female victim walked into the police station to report that her ex-boyfriend, Jorge A. Davila Jr., attempted to force her vehicle off the road and pursued her before she arrived at the station.

Authorities confirmed that Davila was subject to a valid Order of Protection requiring him to keep away from the victim. Following the complaint, police took Davila into custody on several charges, including two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child (a misdemeanor), Reckless Endangerment in the Second Degree (a misdemeanor), and Criminal Contempt in the First Degree (a felony).

After being arraigned, Davila was released to appear in court at a later date. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
