(WNY News Now) – OLEAN, N.Y. – The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Lyndon man on an active bench warrant on Friday, August 15, 2025.
According to Sheriff Eric A. Butler, deputies took Steven J. King, 39, of Lyndon, into custody at approximately 1:22 p.m. at 101 East State Street in Olean. The warrant had been issued by Cattaraugus County Court.
Following his arrest, King was transported to the Cattaraugus County Jail, where he is being held pending further court proceedings. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
