(WNY News Now) – The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Hinsdale man after a domestic incident in Allegany early Saturday morning.

According to deputies, Joshua A. Foster, 31, was taken into custody on September 20, 2025, at approximately 1:22 a.m. at a West Main Street address in Allegany. Foster was charged with harassment in the second degree.

Following his arrest, Foster was processed and arraigned in Hinsdale Town Court. He was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to return to Allegany Village Court at a later date to answer the charge. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
